At Alpha English Labs, our journey began the same way it does for many families — we were simply searching for the perfect dog for our own home.

My name is Chelsea, and together with my husband Ryan and our four children, we are the family behind Alpha English Labs here in Katy, Texas. Years ago, we began looking for a dog that would truly fit into our busy household — one that would be gentle with children, able to keep up with our active lifestyle, and still perfectly content to curl up beside us at the end of the day.

That search led us to the English Labrador.

​

From the moment we welcomed our first lab into our home, we quickly realized just how special these dogs are. Their calm temperaments, incredible loyalty, and natural love for people made them the perfect companion for our family. Watching the way they interacted with our children — patient, loving, and always ready for adventure — made it clear that this breed was something truly extraordinary.

What started as a love for one dog soon grew into a passion for the breed itself.

Alpha English Labs was created out of a desire to share these incredible companions with other families while raising the standard for responsible breeding. We believe every puppy deserves the very best start in life, and that belief shapes everything we do.

​

Our puppies are raised right inside our home as part of our daily life. From the very beginning, they are surrounded by the sounds, activities, and interactions of a busy household with children. We place a strong focus on early development through programs such as Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI), helping each puppy build confidence, resilience, and curiosity during their most important developmental weeks.

We are deeply committed to the health and well-being of our dogs. Our breeding dogs are health tested through OFA and Embark to help ensure we are producing healthy, well-structured English Labradors with exceptional temperaments.

​

But beyond health and structure, what matters most to us is the life each puppy will go on to live.

Every puppy we raise is treated as if they were our own. We spend countless hours caring for them, socializing them, tracking their development, and preparing them for the transition into their new homes. By the time our puppies leave at eight weeks old, they have already experienced a great deal of love, interaction, and thoughtful preparation for life with their new families.

One of the most special parts of Alpha English Labs is the community that forms around each litter. Many of our families stay connected long after go-home day, sharing updates, photos, and stories of their dogs as they grow. What begins as bringing home a puppy often becomes joining what we lovingly call the Alpha Pack.

It has been an absolute privilege to spend the first eight weeks of life with every puppy we raise. We are incredibly grateful to the families who trust us to play a small role in bringing their new companion into the world.
